Wedding Proposals aren’t just for holidays…

Yesterday marked the day I got engaged 10 years ago, man it’s been a while.  It’s funny how you don’t realize how long it’s been until you really think about it.  When I think back on it, I so wanted to get engaged over the holidays and I was honestly bummed that I didn’t.  I was like, “Man, I guess I have to wait till Valentine’s Day” because we are all programmed to think that the holidays between Thanksgiving and New Years and then Valentine’s Day are the best times to get engaged.  And to that I say, “Hell No!”

There are so many more great dates out there to get engaged on and you don’t have to share it with any other holidays.  Sure, it’s great for memories and always remembering when you got engaged but do you really want to share your proposal with a big holiday like New Years or Christmas.  Maybe I’m just a little selfish and not into sharing!! Which could be possible, LOL!

But honestly, don’t get sucked into the hype of getting engaged during the high engagement holidays because you could easily lose sight of what is really the important thing, getting engaged, no matter when it is!!
