I first wrote about Hips and Curves here in 2013. In 2014 I fell for one of their black satin teddies: simple, chic, and it hugged your curves in all the right spots. Perfect for a wedding night or a honeymoon suitcase. The brand has a new home now, so here is where to find it.
What Hips and Curves sells now
City Chic calls Hips and Curves “the Lingerie Fit Experts.” The collection on the City Chic site includes:
- Bras, including wirefree, balconette, lace and plunge styles
- Panties and matching bra and panty sets
- Shapewear
- Hosiery
- Sleepwear
- Sexy lingerie and playwear
What sizes does Hips and Curves carry?
The City Chic site says it carries sizes 10 to 26. Bra sizing works differently, so check the size chart on each piece before you order.
What to buy for your wedding
- Under the dress. A longline or strapless bra and smoothing shapewear. Buy these before your first fitting so your seamstress fits the gown over them.
- Wedding night. A satin teddy, chemise or babydoll. Pick the one that feels like you.
- Honeymoon. A robe and a couple of sets you can mix.
