I just love featuring weddings from across the pond! Today we have a wedding from Bowness-on-Windermere, a quaint little town in South Lakeland, Cumbria, England. It’s set right on the banks of Windermere and has become a tourist hotspot. I just love all the english touches!

From the Bride: We got married in The Old England Hotel in the Lake District of Bowness-on-Windermere on 02/18/17.  It was where he proposed to me. We had a small wedding of just 50, that lasted all day and night. We tried to do something a bit different with going on the boat during the day with all our guests. Our son, named Rupert is 10 months old. We have been together about 2 years. We wanted a English theme wedding with David and Rupert wearing tweed suits that went with the warm colors of the hotel.
