There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing bridal companies standing up and taking notice of the curvy brides. It makes me soooo excited! And my favorite company who has really dived in head first with ensuring that plus size brides are catered to and included in all the gorgeousness of wedding gowns is Watters. They have spared no expense in making sure that brides with curves are able to experience the same flutter in their stomach when they see THEIR dress as other brides. It just warms my heart.
And I’m so excited to share one of my favorite gowns from their new collection that they showed last weekend at the Bridal Market, check some of my other coverage of the weekend here.
This dress is gorgeous and has everything that a curvy bride looking for something a bit non traditional with texture and lots of tulle could every want. It has a Strapless, sweetheart neckline and a pleated tulle bodice with a beaded trim at the dropped waist. And as an added bonus it has a full, tightly ruffled, ball gown skirt which is a favorite for most curvy brides. It comes in White, Ivory, Antique which is shown and it has a cathedral train length.
This new collection by Watters called the Wtoo Curves Collection will be feature on Wtoo.com to give plus size brides a comprehensive idea of how our styles will look on curvier brides. This feature showcases current and signature styles that were designed with these brides in mind. Beautifully proportioned up to size 32W for curves, comfort, and compliments.
I’m elated to be able to finally share this with all our readers it’s refreshing to see a brand take notice to a population ready and willing to spend money on amazing gowns but just not being given the options.
Visit Watters for more information on retailers that will be carrying this new collection.
This collection won’t be available in stores or for viewing online until next year.
