Be the Baddest Chick on the Block

I am at the ABC Conference in Baltimore this week and I’m having a blast.  Meeting and catching up with old friends is great as well as seeing some fantastic speakers.  One of whom has amazed and astonished me beyond belief, Diann Valentine .  Diann Valentine was introduced to me by one of my good friends in the wedding industry, Lisa Smith of Gabbi Grace Events and Backstage Bridal Pro Academy and from that moment I have been motivated, inspired and kicked into gear by her.

I had the honor of seeing her speak yesterday and it was AMAZING!!!  Throughout her whole speech she employed us to be different by setting our own trends and not going with the flow all while being “The Baddest Chick on the Block”.

This statement resonates with me in so many ways: with my wedding business, with Pretty Pear Bride and definitely being a plus size woman.  So I had to share this great tip with all my plus size brides because you need to feel like you are being “The Baddest Chick on the Block” while planning your wedding, looking for a dress and ultimately when you walk down that aisle.

So in the words of the phenomenal Diann Valentine go out and “Be the Baddest Chick on the Block”

Experience all that is Diann Valentine in her premiere of I Do Weddings on Sunday November 13th @10pm on WE tv.
