{Things I Love Thursday} Candy Bars

Last summer, my boyfriend and I attended a friend’s wedding. It was gorgeous and very dignified, but my favorite part of the whole thing was the candy bar at the reception. It was filled with cookies and rock candy and gummy things and just anything and everything in pink and white. I felt like a little kid in a (ironically enough) candy store. It was just so fun and so different. If you weren’t a cake person, then there were other options for your sweet tooth. It’s also great because now that candy bars are a big trend, you can get your favorite candies in your specific wedding colors. It’s also a cheap way to make your reception special. You can snag glass jars and scoops at any craft store for cheap. Some of my favorite ideas for things to fill your candy bar include chocolate-covered Oreos, rock candy, marshmallows, chocolate-covered pretzels and pearl-covered chocolates or peanuts!
