{Things I Love Thursday} Birdcage Veils

 {Things I Love Thursday} Birdcage Veils

I think I first fell in love with the birdcage veil when I watched Sweet Home Alabama in theaters. When I saw Reese Witherspoon glide down the aisle and sparkle in that stunning, vintage-inspired veil, my heart skipped a beat. It was so different, so simplistic and yet filled with detail. It drew you right to her eyes.

And that’s what I think is so captivating about the birdcage veil. It adds an air of mystery and allure. It takes you back to the days where just the simple flutter of an eyelash could say everything. It’s romantic and demure. It is also the perfect overlaying canvas to your beautiful features (and makeup) on your big day. Plus, you can get one for under $100!
