Today we are featuring a styled shoot for plus size brides looking for a very minimalistic style. It would be perfect for someone looking for a little elopement inspiration. And of course since spring as finally sprung, fingers crossed, this fits the bill for that too. I also love how the team decided to use fake flowers for this inspiration because so many brides suffer from allergies and those are definitely popping up with spring in the air.
From the Photographer: Going into this styled shoot, my goal was to create a minimal, elopement style, and spring inspired vision for the brides with allergies. It’s been a rather warm winter here in Florida, and seasonal allergies are already kicking in strong, Knowing how sensitive some brides are to flowers, my goal was to create a bouquet made of fake flowers from hobby lobby that photographed just as beautiful as real flowers. Spending only about $35 dollars, we created a bouquet that would stun the crowed. To add to the spring theme, ArtsyByM hand crafted a gorgeous wood burned wedding invitation suite. The end goal is simple: I want to change the stigma of fake flowers at weddings as being a cheap way out. No one should have spend their wedding day either uncomfortable with a runny nose or drowsy from Benadryl. A wedding can be beautiful with real or fake flowers. The only thing that matters is the fact that you’re marrying your best friend. (My models are actually marrying each other in Jan 2019!)
