I absolutely love wine, blush and navy together, and this styled shoot featuring David’s Bridal’s Oleg Cassini collection included them all. It’s elegant, regal and timeless all wrapped up in one and inspired by the evolution of the designer himself. Oleg Cassini is a celebrity designer who is known for dressing icons like Jackie O and Grace Kelly. As the queen of timeless elegance, Aisle Society was inspired by Grace Kelly, and envisioned the romance of “Grace Kelly in the Hamptons” at the beautiful Seven Springs, a picturesque historical estate just outside of Richmond, Virginia (yay for my hometown). This amazing location truly embodied the polished and classic designs of Oleg Cassini’s collection.
The opulent wedding gowns were the stars of the show, with dreamy pale pink lace, retro silhouettes, and impeccable beading as some of the highlights. With breath-taking cathedral veils and the perfect red lip courtesy of Ave 42 Style Studio, the brides showcased a timeless elegance that would have made Grace proud!
David’s Bridal’s new Oleg Cassini bridesmaid dresses, which launch today, are available in sizes up to 30, so brides of all shapes and sizes can enjoy these elegant designs. This new collection features fuller, more structured silhouettes with the introduction of a new fabrication, Faille. They also include more polished details such as botanical embroidery, lace appliqués and beaded waist bands and brooches. And I must say that I just love the mix and match styles and colors creating the perfect mismatched bridal party.
Storyboard Weddings and Glamour & Grace created a reception set up designed with a romantic table for two and tablescape that drew off inspiration straight from Grace Kelly in a scene of High Society. She is in a model boat just like the boat in the movie, True Love. It creates a perfect nautical touch, especially with the calligraphy adorned sail courtesy of Capital Calligraphy. And who could forget the heirloom glassware and silverware from Paisley and Jade, that totally added to the chic timelessness of it all. While the hand-lettered mussel place cards from Love Always, Me gave an added touch of whimsy.
Ending off the celebration was a retro caravan bar, from Cozy Caravan Club, that featured scrumptious champagne accoutrement selections like lush blackberries, fragrant rosemary and a dash of pear juice. You know we love pears around here! The caravan served as the perfect bridge to yesteryear while showcasing modern amenities and stylings. The day was complete with a champagne toast and a cuddle with Cupid, one of Seven Springs’ sheep!
David’s Bridal is truly a one stop shop for any and everything wedding, including these new Oleg Cassini bridal gowns and the new bridesmaid collection which are available in 100 of their 300+ stores! I am completely googly eyed with this entire shoot, and the fabulous images captured by Nikki Santerre Photography!
