plus size bride, plus size wedding dress, plus size real wedding, old hollywood glamour

Styled Shoot | Old Hollywood Glamour Meets Vintage Miami

Today we are sharing a beyond amazing styled shoot that literally stopped me in my tracks when I got it. The old world hollywood glamour is unmatched and to have a stunning plus size model makes it even better!

Y’all and there is a mix of black and white pictures with color images. I don’t usually share a lot of black and white images but I tell you when I do they are so amazing. And it plays right into the old hollywood glamour that is perfect for any wedding by the way. ENJOY!

The ceremony was held in Palm Court of the Fairmont Empress – inspiration was taken from the name of this court! The Palm Court features an intricate stained-glass dome originally built in 1910. Sandy put in wood Chiavari chairs for the ceremony and had a palm frond with flowing fabric on each aisle end. Palm trees are on each side of the ceremony backdrop. The aisle is lined with a white linen runner, greenery, and a profusion of glass votives of every size.

The reception is in the Crystal Ballroom features 10 dazzling chandeliers!
The designer wished to do something more unique with table settings and set the tables diagonally across the ballroom. The tables crescendo to the center round table with the tallest and largest palm and floral display. The decor featured tall vases of palm fronds, greenery, and orchids. Along with high arrangements, the table itself had palm leaves surrounded by white candles. Round tables set in-between featured delicate floral arrangements created with greenery and smaller white orchids. Each white plate was sat upon a gold charger with a piece of Italian Ruscus on top of each white linen napkin.

The cake features square and round tiers of different sizes – a very unique cake!
Ruscus and small white orchids are arranged around the cake levels. We love the gold leaf on the one-tier! The cake sits on a white platter on top of palm fronds.

The groom’s boutonniere features three types of greenery – perfectly classic with the formal tuxedo.

The bride is wearing a gorgeous lace and crystal bodice with a full tulle skirt gown. She is wearing her hair in a swept-up style with crystal hair jewelry along with the traditional pearl necklace. The groom is in the traditional tux – exactly as the Rat Pack wore!

The bouquet features white orchids, white peace lilies, and lots of types of greenery along with the small palm fronds.

We love the bride sitting on the white couch at the dance floor lounge with her Mona Lisa smile!

We are also loving the intricate drapery (the artistic swag!!) between Palm Court and the Crystal Ballroom as well as behind the sweetheart table. The newlyweds are sitting like glamourous movie stars at their own show. Columns of palm fronts and orchids are on each side of them while greenery and orchids surround the couple.
