{Real Wedding} Rocky Mountain Weekend Getaway Wedding | Crystaline Photography

I know how it is to move to a new city and find yourself emerged in a new culture and absolutely love it! Today’s couple made a major move too and they wanted their family to experience the same love for their new state that they did. So they decided to make their wedding a little weekend getaway for their guests. And it turned out to be an epic party.

From the Photographer: Kelly & Jon had recently moved to the Denver area together when I first met them at the start of their wedding planning. Because most of their guests were from out of state they decided to make their wedding more of a getaway weekend in the beautiful Rocky Mountains to share the love they had of their new home! Della Terra is a truly one of a kind of experience for weddings offering accommodations on site for guests to stay, a full salon for the use of the bride and bridesmaids and an entertainment room that was utilized by the groom and groomsmen for getting ready. The couple paid such close attention to details by creating adorable chalkboard signs for a timeline of their romance, their signature drinks, place card holders and more! I was also very moved by the personalized touches that they included in their wedding ceremony which included having a special friend sing a beautiful song during the bride's entrance, a wine box letter ceremony, a quiet moment to remember close relatives who had passed away with a special wind chime that rang only when the officiant mentioned that was what it was intended to do and an amazing butterfly release at the end of the ceremony. I even made sure to set-up a photo with all of the guests in attendance so that the couple could remember who was in attendance for years to come. It was an amazing event made even more special by the bride's mother being able to attend despite being in treatment for cancer (she passed away in December) and a special serenade made by the groom on his saxophone. This will be one of the more memorable events I have photographed. I'm happy they chose us to be a part of their special day.
