Sierra and Katie are of the sweetest couples I’ve ever seen! They tied the knot at Driftwood Beach in Jekyll Island, GA in a very beautiful and emotional private ceremony. They looked so happy and in love, you can tell by looking at the photos!

Tell us about your wedding: We eloped at Driftwood Beach in Jekyll Island, GA. Our ceremony was very laid back. We didn’t invite family or friends. There was no strict schedule to adhere to which made the day less stressful. We couldn’t have had a more perfect day! Wedding Colors: We didn’t have any but there was a healthy amount of glitter. How did the two of you meet? At work. Describe your engagement: Picture the engagement scene from Sweet Home Alabama but during normal business hours and dialed way back. The good news is we made it to the alter.
Personal or handmade details: Jekyll Island is our favorite family vacation spot. Sierra wore my late Grandmother’s jewelry. Describe your flowers: White roses and tulips, blue hydrangeas, eucalyptus, and baby’s breath wrapped in white floral ribbon. Memories and Stories about the Day: The day was a rollercoaster of emotions. We were nervous, excited, and incredibly happy. It was the BEST day! Your first dance song: Take the World by Johnnyswim
The thing that we would have done differently is? We would’ve used bug repellent prior to heading to the beach because…sand gnats Your advice for other plus size brides: Do not let anyone dictate your special day, wear what you want, and have fun! Three adjectives that describe the day: Peaceful, emotional, and perfect What has surprised you most during the first few months of marriage? Marriage really does feel different than dating.
