Today’s wedding is a destination wedding that took place in Italy. First off Italy is the one of the most romantic places and from the looks of this wedding, that is definitely true. Kristiana and Omar are from Maryland and wanted to get married in Italy. They flew over 10 days before their wedding to take in the sights and get things set up. Tell us about the wedding: “I’m so happy to finally share with you some of my favorite images from my last wedding in Venice! It was a destination wedding since bride and groom came from Maryland. They flew to Venice 10 days prior the wedding for seeing one of the most famous Carnival in the world, and then they would have been ready for an unforgettable wedding in the only hotel in Venice which is also a museum: Ca’ Sagredo Hotel. When Kristiana told me the location I was so excited, it’s for sure one of my favorite hotel in Venice! Our session was actually spread out over the entire day, Kristiana and Omar got ready for the first shooting at sunrise. We met at 7 o’clock, Lisa Semenzato made an awesome job doing her makeup and hair. We walked around a silent city, with no tourists around, just this awesome couple taking picture in a sunny day of February. We walked to San Mark square, Riva degli Schiavoni, Rialto and many other places. We followed the sun in an unreal and stunning Venice. We stopped shooting at 10 and I gave a rest to these guys for relaxing and be ready for the ceremony! Kristiana met Lisa in the early afternoon for doing again a sophisticated makeup and hair in the beautiful junior suite of the Ca’Sagredo Hotel. Her dress was gorgeous and really suited her, once they were ready, after a glass of champagne they walked down the aisle together.The ceremony was lovely, and with lot of charm and they looked so happy and in love! After the ceremony they had appetizers and then a dinner in the most stunning room in Ca’ Sagredo, the music room. My favorite part was when they danced in this awesome room, hugging each other in this surreal atmosphere.
