Julia and Ethan had a sweet wedding ceremony at The Conservatory in the heart of St. Charles, Missouri on a beautiful day in October. The bride’s grandfather walked her down the aisle (so sweet), and Julia wore her grandmother’s necklace. I loved all the fall colors of deep red of the bridesmaids’ dresses, and Julia’s bouquet had all the fall colors – from oranges to darker reds. So perfect for this lovely couple! And Julia’s Stella York wedding dress was AMAZING!

How did the two of you meet? We met while both of us were working at starbucks.
Describe your engagement: He had a server put the ring box on our dessert tray at VBs Chocolate Bar after we had gone to the movies that night.
Describe your wedding flowers:
Champagne roses, Black Pearl roses, orange calla lilies.
Memories and Stories about the Day:
The whole day was beautiful! The best thing was sharing it with the ones we love. Both women and men that made up the wedding party live out of state, so it was especially wonderful to celebrate with them!

The thing that we would have done differently is?
I would do so much more planning ahead of time! Anything that can be done early, be sure to do it when you have time! Don’t count on having an insane amount of time the week before the wedding, even if you take time off work.

Your advice for other plus size brides:
you are BEAUTIFUL! make sure you always remember that.

What has surprised you most during the first few months of marriage?
It was definitely a surprise that even after the wedding, time has gone by so fast. I guess that’s what happens!
