Whenever I think about our wedding day, I become filled with so many beautiful memories that are re-lived every time I look back at our beautiful photos and wedding video. To say that Eduardo and I’s day was perfect may sound cliché but if I had to describe our wedding to someone in one word, that would be the word.
Eduardo and I got married on October 12, 2014 at the Davenport Club in New Rochelle, NY. Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons as I love the cooler weather and the leaves changing on the trees. Some of the reasons why we chose this venue was because it had a vintage flair to it, was right on the water, and provided an intimate setting for our 120 person guest list which was important to us.
As I was wedding planning, my focus was to have a romantic, intimate affair that incorporated my own personal touch in a vintage setting. Because of this, I went with a neutral palette with hints of blush and gold to compliment my ivory detailed Oleg Cassini strapless dress.
My most memorable moment of the entire day was taking a step back at the reception and just taking it all in. As I looked around, the room was filled with love, beauty, good times, wonderful family and friends that made the day so special to us. It was at this moment that I saw all my hard work come together before my eyes and came out to exactly how I envisioned it would be. At our wedding there were tears shed, love in the air, and amazing memories that will last us a lifetime.
