Sandi and Simon wanted a fun and relaxed wedding, since it was a second marriage for both of them. Sandi wore a tea length gown with a gorgeous sparkly belt from Dolly Couture, and Betsey Johnson shoes covered with bling (and blue soles!). Her bridesmaids were in gorgeous steel blue lace. Simon and the guys went with classic tuxedos with long ties. Their kids, along with Sandi’s best friend and Simon’s dad, stood up with them at the altar. A delicious BBQ dinner (with strawberry shortcake kabobs!) made for a fun and casual picnic feel to their reception, which accompanied the view of the valley and mountains perfectly.
One of the couple’s favorite photos is during the first look, when Sandi’s heel went into a crack and she nearly lost her balance. The pure laughter in her face, coupled with Simon’s reaction, they said was perfectly them.
