PLANNING | 4 Things to Get Done When Planning a Wedding

A wedding is a beautiful ceremony that binds two loved ones together forever. It’s what all girls dream of; finding their prince charming and living happily ever after. If you have been married, then you know the love that fills the air and the thrill that overcomes you with making it the best possible event of your life. However, this day begets a frantic environment of its own. You have so much to get done in so little time. In today’s article we’ll share 4 things you absolutely need to get done when planning a wedding.

1.Make Invitation Cards

After you’re done compiling a guest list for the wedding, it’s time to make the invitation cards. Here is your chance to be as creative as much as you like. There are several different types of wedding cards you can choose from such as the laser cut wedding invitations, the foil wedding cards, pocket wedding invitations, thermography wedding invitations and many more. Once you have selected a card type you can either personally deliver the cards to your wedding invites or mail them over to their residential address.

2. Decide the Venue

Before you decide on the destination of where your ‘big day’ is to take place, you should first have a budget plan. Couples typically spend $3,000 to $10,000 on their wedding venue. It’s up to you where you wish to have the wedding; take note that weddings in rural areas are more economical compared to those held in urban areas. If you live in a big house or have a relative that does, with a large backyard or a big garden, then you can have your wedding there; this will be more cost-effective since you can save the amount you would otherwise spend on renting a place.

3. Plan Your Honeymoon

What’s a wedding without a honeymoon? There are so many beautiful countries you can choose as your honeymoon destination. You and your future spouse can decide what works best for you in terms of budget and the location where you wish to spend your honeymoon. Some of the best places for a memorable honeymoon include Hawaii, Bora Bora, Maldives, Tuscany, the island of Mauritius, and Greece. Aside from selecting the perfect location, add some fun activities that you and your future spouse would enjoy like sky diving, scuba diving, kayaking, skiing, or whatever else you both enjoy doing.

4. Find the Perfect Wedding Dress

Probably the best thing about a wedding is picking out your dream dress and a veil; this is every girl’s dream. There are so many different wedding dresses and designs that you can choose from. You should be aware that wedding dresses can be very costly so make sure you have a budget plan and choose the right dress within this budget. Furthermore, take your body shape into consideration as well. By doing so you will create more visual balance and attraction to both your body and dress.
