This is one of my complete and utter obsessions right now. Naked cakes are so simple and chic but yet so elegant. I love the texture and depth that a naked cake can have as compared to traditional butter cream or fondant cakes. These cakes are rising to the top of many bride’s lists because of the texture that they bring to the table, literally. It’s texture that brides have come to love and want which is definitely evident in the tremendous surge in naked wedding cakes.
