This is nothing better than a fall wedding. One, its way cheaper to get married in the fall. Two, it’s not as hot {just the right temperature!} and three you have a beautiful natural background. You know I love me some built in, non paid for decorations. LOL!
Jennifer and Stephen had just this with their October 8, 2011 wedding near Pittsburgh PA
Arriving early in the day to the hotel suite where both Stephen and I were getting ready with all of their closest friends and family – in separate hotel rooms of course! The vibe in the girls’ room was very exciting with makeup going on in one corner, last minute sewing to a bridesmaids dress in another corner, music blasting and people in and out. But, in the middle of all of the wedding hoopla, hung my amazing wedding gown and killer tennis shoes. All the girls wore tennis shoes, long gowns and they designed the top of their gowns.
Down the hall in the groom’s suite, the vibe differed. The boys all sat around eating pizza and drinking beer. At one point, everyone went downstairs to hang out in the back of a truck. Tailgating groomsmen! That is how you know you are in Pittsburgh! After everyone got beautiful, it was off to the gorgeous outdoor gazebo for the I do’s before the whole gang was swept away for the party.
The reception was very real, all about family and friends. The cookie table was a hit to say the least but the candy table disappeared before the bridal party entered, lol. Every detail was considered to make sure the guests were comfortable and having a ball….complete with a photo booth and a basket of flip flops at the door…so that everyone could dance the night away.
