Introducing A’Lanna The Intern!

Hello!

My name is A’Lanna Wells. I am 19 years old and I just finished my junior year at Westminster College in Pennslyvania, although I’m actually from Cleveland, Ohio. As a plus-sized female, I know how hard it is to find clothes that fit my body type. The prettiest shirts and dresses are always two sizes too small and this can be very frustrating. However, if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it is to appreciate my size. Even though I’m on the heavier side, I can still wear clothing that makes me look and feel great and this is exactly what Pretty Pear Bride does.

Pretty Pear Bride is a place where brides of all shapes and sizes can feel welcome and be proud of their bodies on what is the happiest day of their lives. While I am nowhere near walking down the aisle with “Prince Charming” waiting for me at the altar, I have so many things that I’d like to share with all of you. From searching for the perfect outfit when going on a fun night out to overcoming the hardships of clothes shopping in general, I hope that my words will encourage women to feel more confident about their bodies. I am very excited to be working with Pretty Pear Bride this summer and hope that you enjoy all I have to offer.
