{Home Sunday} Rustic DIY Pantry
Ok, I am very excited about this week’s Home Sunday, mostly because it’s so cheap and easy.
Whenever I visit a historical village, I will see a kitchen or pantry in a home that is 100 to 200 years old. And what I always love about these kitchens are the giant glass jars filled with flour or herbs or nuts. It just looks so homey and so warm and inviting. I’ve also wondered why we never kept this up. It’s such a handy and convenient way to access things we use in the kitchen on a daily basis.
If you have space in your pantry, you must try this. Restaurant supply sites are the place to go for basic pieces like this. You can get these gorgeous glass jars for only $7.42 each and scoops for each for only $1.27! You can fill these jars with anything: flour, sugar, brown sugar, granola, nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, etc. It looks way more attractive than a bunch of bags and boxes spilling all over in your pantry.
