{Fashion Friday} Bridal Fashion Week ~ Trends We love for Plus Size Brides
Bridal Week was last month and there was so much fabulousness that I had to share some of my favorite trends for plus size brides from the runways. First off the runways were full of everything that a bride to be would love from lace and tulle to dramatic backs it was amazing. I loved every minute of it. And no, there weren’t any plus size models on the runway, a change is coming – I swear, there were definitely some great things I saw on the runway that could translate for a plus size brides. Here are my top picks, Part I
Lace
It will always be the epitome of tradition and for a good reason because it’s so simple, chic and elegant. And for plus size brides is a great way to incorporate texture into your wedding dress. It’s also a great lightweight alternative as opposed to some of the heavier material out there.

Sleeves
I was ecstatic when Kate Middleton wore a dress with sleeves because I just knew that it would revolutionize the wedding industry and it has. Sleeves are such a great option if you are self conscious about your arms, having a wedding in the spring or fall or if you just want an added element to your gown. Sleeves are not just an added piece of material attached to your dress, they have evolved into elaborate extensions of your personality with embroidery, different styles and accessories that make them an element all their own. It excites me that designers are really taking notice and adding them to their collections and make them look “Oh so chic”
