I have been hearing such a huge buzz about plus size wedding dresses with sleeves lately. I feel like trends always come full circle in the wedding industry. At one point something is on trend, then it moves out of view for a little while but it’s inevitable that it will come back around, full circle. Sleeves were made very popular when Kate Middleton got married and now they are back again. See told you so!
I have to be honest one of my favorite companies that really do sleeves very well is Pronovias US. They get that a curvy bride may want to have her arms covered for whatever reason but realize that we want them to be stylish and look good. They just get it!!
I personally love a nice lace sleeve, it really adds a bit of elegance to any dress. Sleeves on a wedding dress can add that romantic and whimsical feel that so many brides long for. And not to mention there are so many different versions of sleeves! Gone are the days where you had sleeves that came all the way down to your wrist and look bland and blah, there are so many different variations now; cap sleeves, 3/4 length sleeves, short sleeves, off the shoulder sleeves and then of course the long sleeve which most are used to.
Since there is such a growing popularity of sleeves, I figured I would share some of my most favorite ones that truly are inspiring. As plus size brides, many like the security and protection of sleeves but are made to feel that they aren’t pretty or will downplay a wedding dress. No Ma’am, not the case at all. You can look fabulous and have a wedding dress that makes you feel comfortable in your own skin.
I’m going to share with you some of the most inspiring sleeved wedding dresses for plus size woman that will blow your mind. I mean literally blow your mind because they are just that gorgeous!
I hope you feel the same way as I do about these exquisite plus size wedding dresses. My goal here was to show you that regardless of your size, yes plus size brides included who want sleeves, can have amazing inspiring wedding dresses.
Let me know which dress is your favorite and the one you could see yourself wearing!
