We have quite the charming engagement shoot for you out of Shafonne’s hometown of Virginia today! You’ll adore bride Carrie who grew up in a farming family and has always wanted a fall wedding but realized there’s just too little time with it being smack in the middle of harvest season. She compromised with a fall engagement shoot and a spring wedding instead. The engagement was just beautiful and country chic, with hay bales, cotton fields and a John Deere tractor. We love their simple sweetness and hope you submit that gorgeous wedding to us too, Carrie and David!

From the Photographer: Carrie grew up in a farming family so naturally she fell in love with a farmer. She loves the fall and has always wanted a fall wedding but there’s just no time for a wedding in the middle of harvest season. Carrie and David are planning a beautiful spring 2016 wedding (complete with barns and tractors!) but Carrie managed to pull David out of the cotton fields one beautiful October evening for a fall engagement session on her parents’ farm. She envisioned the perfect session complete with hay bales, cotton fields, and a perfectly placed John Deere tractor. We ended our session in the same pumpkin patch where David proposed just a few weeks before. These two are just as sweet as their southern accents and their kindness really shows through their sweet smiles.
