We’ve got a VA engagement, y’all know how I love me some hometown love! This couple is planning a fall wedding so they decided on spring engagement pictures and it couldn’t have worked out better. I just love the pictures they remind me so much of the gorgeous colors that the foliage and trees can have in Virginia. I love it!

From the Photographer: I am SO SO excited to share this Burke Lake Park engagement! Kariann and Matt were such a fun couple to work with, and the weather was so amazing and perfect during our time together in Springfield, VA! We had originally planned their engagement session for the day before, but when threats of cold, high winds, and snow were announced, I knew that we needed to shift it a little to the right in order to have an ideal weather (and lighting!) situation! And it couldn’t have worked out better! Kariann and Matt contacted me earlier in the year about their fall wedding in Woodstock, VA and I just knew from the very first time we spoke that this couple was a Bethanne Arthur Photography couple. I could tell they were laid-back, so excited to get married to each other, and their reception is going to be in a brewhouse! How cool is that?! As we ventured around Burke Lake Park on that gorgeous Spring day, we joked and laughed and talked about their wedding in September and how they are planning to travel to Europe for their honeymoon. These two are die-hard Liverpool football fans, and they have plans to see it all in action in England! Kariann has such a sweet and giggly personality, and by the way Matt looked at her during their session, I could tell these two were just made for each other. I cannot WAIT to see Kariann as a bride and to catch Matt’s reaction as she comes down the aisle! I am so honored to have been chosen to document this amazing and special time in their lives!
