I love a great destination wedding but many think that a destination wedding HAS to be to a beachy type location. Which, yes is great and fabulous but not always the case. Kerri and Ryan’s wedding from Paul Retherford Photography is a stunning destination wedding but the couple actually stayed in their home state but went to a different part of the state to have their wedding. An ingenious idea because you get to go to a completely different location, the destination part but don’t have to worry about passports and all the travel out of the country. Kerri and Ryan came up from the Flint, Michigan area to get married on Mackinac Island, Michigan. They love the island and wanted a special destination Wedding in Northern Michigan. They chose Harbourview Inn for their outdoor gazebo Wedding. It was an early after noon Wedding with a small reception afterwards. It was a beautiful sunny day in Northern Michigan!
