As kids, we all looked forward to story time. It was a time when our imaginations could run wild with stories of good versus evil, magic, wanderlust, and love. Who didn’t dream of the moment where good prevailed, magic was everywhere and happily ever afters were all but guaranteed?
As adults, its hard to find our way back to the magic of Once upon a time, but somehow we recall these memories during wedding planning. Maybe its the draw for our one happy ending or the desire for a day filled with joy and magic. But rarely do we think about how these stories of our childhood truly influence us as adults.
One of the lesser mentioned, but strongly loved 1697 tale of Little Red Riding Hood was the inspiration for this romantic creative shoot, and a great reprise from the greyness of winter.
Pops of bold red are flossed through out the inspiration and came to life in an amazing red velvet hood, through the flowers which were masterfully designed by English Garden. give a bride a cape, a dog, and not one but two unique bouquets, and watch her turn from damsel in distress to diva!
Subtle nods to the French fairy tale like the acrylic Over The River signs, a bonafide wolf stand in, and a handsome woodsman as the groom brought this shoot to current life.
Greenhouse Picker Sisters created the most beautiful lounge and table scape with a backdrop of the beautiful Bradford venue . This shoot proves that childhood fantasy can beautifully influence our adult desires.
