Saturday Outings: Garden Party
On a warm sunny day, it’s nice to mingle with friends and family while eating delicious food among rows and rows of roses, tulips and daisies. I am of course talking about a garden party. Yes, we all love going to garden parties in mid-summer because it gives us a chance to show off our patios, our fancy tea sets and, more importantly, stop and smell the beautiful flowers that surround us. A garden party is also the best time to flaunt a simple yet elegant dress that’ll give the flowers a run for their money. Since it will most likely be a sunny day with no clouds in sight, it’s best to wear a bright dress for the occasion. Colors such as blue, white and pink are good choices. And last but not least, if one solid color is not enough, try wearing a dress that has patterns on it. The best patterns include polka dots, stripes, and my personal favorite, a floral design.
