Today’s wedding reminds me of leaving by the water. We would constantly see nautical inspiration. Bekah and Brent created an incredible nautical rustic wedding and it was a hit. They implemented tons of DIY elements and they all came together nicely. I also can’t stop looking at Bekah’s wedding dress from David’s Bridal, it’s got ruffles for days!

From the Bride: Bekah & Brent met online several years ago. Their first date went so well, that they closed the evening out with a kiss. It was everything they’d each hoped to find in a relationship, and almost 2 years after they met, their daughter was born. As they grew together as a couple and as parents, they knew that they wanted to be together forever. Brent asked Bekah to marry him in August of 2014, and they said “I do” this summer out on Whidbey Island.
Bekah poured her heart into the planning and decor, which was almost all DIY (not that you can tell). The beachy-rustic-chic vibe of their ceremony overlooking the water was spot on, and everything was simply gorgeous. It carried over so well into their reception at the Crockett Barn, too. Who knew starfish could feel right at home inside an old barn? I guess anyone in Washington, really.
