Traveling from all across the United States and even Ireland, the guests of Rachel & Adam’s wedding were treated to an unforgettable weekend showcasing the very best of Boston in the fall, as well the love, happiness and quirky expression of the two newlyweds. Every detail and touch had the fingerprint of Rachel and Adam’s warmth and colorful spirit. “Shades of Purple” was their color palette, blending the tones that suited both their own complexion and giving brightness to the backdrop of their autumn wedding.
Their personalized ceremony was held at the gorgeous Boston Harbor Hotel’s Fosters Pavilion, encapsulating picturesque Boston by the sea. Irish music played as they walked down the aisle; a reading from The Little Price set the tone for how their love bonded them; and personalized heart-felt vows sealed their commitment as friends and family gathered to wish them well.
After the loving ceremony, the bride and groom wanted their 90 guests to enjoy a non-traditional reception held at The Littlest Bar across the street. Irish music got the crowd dancing as they enjoyed a buffet style meal that delighted everyone’s tastes, and soon devoured the three-tiered ombre wedding cake, surrounded by seashells the bride’s father collected and painted for this special occasion.
Rachel and Adam planned their wedding together and every detail you see was agreed upon with enthusiasm, fitting into their extremely modest budget, and could not have been so exceptional without the additional support and help of their loving family.
