Themed weddings are always great especially if the couple has a true and deep love for the theme. Today’s wedding is a phantom of the opera themed wedding and it is done so well. They decided to incorporate the masquerade masks which is a great touch and even went as far as having their wedding cake have music notes on it….so fitting.

From the Photographer: Kirstin and Michael met in 2007 while they were teaching together. She knew early on he was the one for her, but he was recently divorced so she wanted to take things slow. He proposed in Disney World and being a musician. Phantom of the Opera was always significant to her, and also to Michael. It was a no brainer that their wedding theme would feature elements of the beloved Andrew Lloyd Weber musical. Their wedding day had several personal touches like the flowers for their centerpieces were a gift from their friend. And her high school band director, Marty Claussen, who Kirstin says has dramatically influenced her teaching career, officiated their ceremony.
