From the Photographer: I met Katrina at a bridal show that I did earlier in the year. At bridal shows there are hundreds to thousands of brides that will visit our booth. We try very hard to make an impression on each bride. We want to remember every bride that visit our booth, but that can be very difficult. I said all that to say this, when I met Katrina and her mom at this bridal show she immediately stood out. The planning of a wedding can be stressful. The hustle and bustle of a busy bridal show can be draining. Not for Katrina, I remember her coming to the booth all bright eyed and bushy tail. She has such an infectious personality. Kerry must count himself blessed, as his days will be filled with someone who always sees the glass half full.This was probably one of the funniest sessions we have shot to date. Katrina and Kerry are one of the coolest couples. They have such a unique bond. Their playful banter is unlike many others. Even when Kerry accidentally spilled some wine on Katrina’s white dress, they did not miss a beat. Kerry worked his way out the doghouse quickly as he offered Katrina the rest of his wine, as she picked out some of the nicest wine in the Lounge.We started in an upscale lounge in downtown Houston. This lounge has a quaint charm to it that really made the session special. Kerry and Katrina wanted a look that had romance to it. They gravitated toward poses that helped capture their love for one another. After the lounge we went to a nearby park and finished at Hermann Park in the museum district. After shooting this session, there is only one bad piece of news; I’m booked for their wedding date!
