There is so much that goes into planning a wedding. Simply put, there’s a lot to think about – especially when it’s all crammed into one day. It can be hard to think past the big things, but there are so many small touches to consider as well. It’s all down to personal choice and what you want on the day, but having the correct stationery ordered and waiting to be used for whatever you’re going to throw at it is vital.

Diary

This is probably the most important piece of stationery that you will need in the run up to your big day. Either a diary or a wedding planner is crucial in making sure that you have got everything that you need when the time arrives, and will help you to note down bits and bobs that count towards it. From writing down times, phone numbers, measurements for your clothes and those involved in the wedding party to what your first dance is going to be, you will need somewhere to keep all of your plans and ideas together in one place. Make sure that your diary spans the length of the lead up to your wedding for convenience purposes.

Invitations

Nobody is going to turn up to your wedding unless you send a save the date card and/or an invitation. An invitation is so much more than a date on a card – most detail routes on how to get there, accommodation details for guests who want to stay over, a wish list for the gifts that you want to receive and a whole host more. While you think it may be cheap to make your own, chances are that the costs of setting yourself up to make the invitations will be a tad more than just paying somebody or a company to do it. Have a look around for any discounts that you can get, such as a wedding paper divas coupon, to ease your finances. There is a lot that is spent during a wedding, but you need to make sure that spending on getting the guests to your venue on time is one of the main criteriaS to your budget.

Name Settings

Making your stationery link in throughout the day is easy enough to do if you have a theme. The inspiration for the invitation design can be transferred to things like the table plan, name settings, signs around your reception venue and even the favors that you lay out for your guests. While it can seem quite overwhelming and daunting to think about just how much paper you’re going to be investing in, it’s also worthwhile noting just how much you’re going to rely on it and need it not just leading up but on your actual day also. Getting yourself prepared and making sure that everything matches is the cherry on the top of a very big cake, and it definitely shows a certain sense of organization when your guests start to arrive.
