Motivation Mondays: Let Them Stare

As a shy girl growing up (actually I’m still pretty shy), I never liked it when people stared at me. I always felt that when someone looked at me while I was walking down the halls they were judging me right away. In my head I would imagine them saying things like “she’s ugly” or “she’s fat.” By my senior year of high school though, it didn’t bother me too much, but I was and still am insecure about those things which is why I try my hardest to wear the best clothes for my figure. When I wear shirts or pants that people end up complimenting me on, it really raises my confidence and lets me know that the staring was worth it.

Instead of feeling defeated by what you think people are saying about you when they look at you, just wear the best clothes you have and act the best way you can so that when people do stare, it was worth the look.
