ENGAGEMENT | Engagement Session at the Western Fair | BeanBot Productions

Sam and Matt are a fun-loving Canadian couple who decided to have their engagement at a fair. The colors and excitement of a traditional fair setting made for the cutest photos. The session ended on a romantic carousel, then the lovebirds went off into the sunset for some delicious funnel cake! Sounds like the perfect engagement session to us.

From the Photographer: Sam and Matt are a fun loving couple and we thought the annual Fair would be the perfect location for their engagement session. The colours and excitement of the fair made a great backdrop with which to capture their love. They still have almost a year to wait until they get married, and they can’t wait!

We started out the session early in the evening to capture some great daytime shots, which also included going up on the swings together to get some shots of the fair and city below them. We were all a little scared of heights, but the photos turned out amazing, so it was worth it. We continued as the sun set with some fun sunset and night shots. Samantha and Matthew were a little nervous during their first time in front of the camera, but they loosened up, took all the posing guidance in stride and had a blast!

We closed the session under the carousel, and then the lovebirds went off to enjoy some funnel cake- a fair tradition for them!
