There is nothing better than sweater weather and we are just about coming up on it. So of course I feel in love with this engagement session featured in our PPB Fall Issue {V3}. I just love how a soft and comfortable sweater can make you feel so nice and on top of that you look amazing in them. This couple were friends for 15 years so it was absolutely naturally to see them move into the “non-friend” zone. Mandi & Noah
From the bride to be: How did the proposal occur? We were at my family’s cottage for Labor Day weekend. Noah had a few buddies come up as well. We had a large storm come through that left us without power. In order to escape the noisy generator, we went to a bar just down the road — just me and the 4 guys. We had a good time, taking lots of pictures and laughing. When we got back to the cottage, Noah and his buddy tried to get me out on the pier to go swimming…but it was cold and raining…I wasn’t going! Noah suggested a picture on the pier (which I still can’t believe I didn’t think was odd). When we got on the pier, his buddies couldn’t figure out the camera. By this time I thought it was a bit strange everyone was so concerned about taking our picture. I then noticed my family watching from the deck, and knew something was up. Just like that, I turn to Noah who was already down on one knee…in tears, shaking, with a huge smile on his face. Of course I said “yes”!
