It’s wedding season and the time of year that I reflect on my big day and how it all started. Yes, it’s been a while since I’ve gotten engaged and experienced all the excitement and fear that accompanied it, like 14 years ago, but I still remember vividly all the feelings that surrounded me and the sweating that soon followed.

I’ve partnered with Simply Stylist and Dove to talk about an amazing moment that made me sweat. It was the moment that I realized that I was finally loved. As plus size women, we hear so often that we aren’t pretty enough or that we need to lose this amount of weight to find someone. But we don’t, we CAN find love and there are people who love us just the way we are. And when we find them and experience that magical moment of their love being professed to us, there’s nothing better!
